Meet Jody, our seasoned professional with over 12 years of expertise in new house building. Jody provides an invaluable link and experience between property owners and tradesmen (we suspect in a previous life she was a plumber!). Since joining our company in 2011, Jody has been the backbone of our operation, managing the day-to-day activities of the office. Her commitment ensures that every aspect of property management is executed with precision. Jody plays a pivotal role in providing valuable guidance to our clients throughout the entire lettings process and ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for all parties.
David Nelson- Head of Sales
David has been part of our team as our Sales Manager since 2018. He oversees our Sales function, conducting valuations on both ends of the business. With extensive experience in the residential property sector, David brings a wealth of knowledge, having worked with both corporate and independent agencies for many years. His expertise ensures clients needs are met meanwhile building trusting relationships, making the property sales process seamless and efficient.
Fiona Nicholson- Head of Finance
Propertymark Level 6 Qualified
Fiona has been a cornerstone of our team since 2013. With a wealth of knowledge in business and customer service, Fiona is a valuable asset to Castlebrae. She has completed The Residential Lettings & Property Management Level 6 with Propertymark, earning her Lettings Diploma. Fiona takes charge of overseeing all aspects of our business finances. Her meticulous approach ensures the financial aspects of our operations run seamlessly, allowing us to focus on delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Joanne Nisbet- Deputy Branch Manager

Joanne became an integral part of our team in 2019 when she joined as our Maintenance Manager. Joanne's extensive background in the private property sector and wealth of knowledge and experience has allowed her role to advance to Deputy Branch Manager. With a deep understanding of our operations and a proven track record of leadership, she now oversees day-to-day branch activities. With years of experience in the maintenance field Joanne's dedication guarantees that our clients' properties are in capable hands. Joanne ensures that our clients' property portfolios are meticulously maintained to the highest standards.
Karen Clark- Property Coordinator
Karen has been a valued member of our team since 2015. With a strong background in customer service as well as an extensive knowledge of the private property sector, Karen is your first point of contact when you walk through our doors. Her welcoming demeanor and warm personality brings a positive atmosphere to our office, making visitors feel right at home. Having worked with landlords and tenants for many years, Karen possesses a unique understanding of their needs and concerns. Karen deals with new tenancy agreements and guarantees that the move-in process is smooth and that your journey with us begins with a warm welcome and expert guidance.
Lynn Maxwell - Sales Consultant

Lynn has over 23 years’ experience in the estate agency industry, she worked with corporate estate agencies before joining the CastleBrae team. She controls sales negotiations, property viewings and oversees all transactions ensuring a positive experience for all involved. She prides herself on excellent customer service, great knowledge of the property market and has a passion for property. Lynn is CeMap qualified and was previously a senior financial consultant for 5 years. In her spare time Lynn loves spending time with her daughter Imogen, they enjoy visits to the cinema, playing tennis and crafting.
David Swift- Finance Coordinator
David became a part of Castlebrae in June 2023. His integration into the team was swift and seamless, charming everyone with his wit. As an integral member, David assists the Accounts Manager in the day-to-day processing of business finances within our bustling estate agency. Beyond his financial prowess, David enjoys jet-setting with friends during his spare time. His dynamic personality and financial acumen make him a valuable asset to our team.
Ria Marshall- Head of Maintenance

Ria, our Maintenance Coordinator joined Castlebrae in November 2022. Hitting the ground running, she brought with her a wealth of experience from a previous role in a Letting Agency, where she handled all aspects of the letting business and conducted Property Inspections. Ria has recently gained her Safeagent Qualification, her extensive knowledge has proven invaluable to us. She takes pride in providing excellent customer service and fostering positive relationships providing a reliable link between tenants and landlords ensuring that every aspect of property maintenance is handled with care and efficiency.
Susan Donaldson- Property Coordinator
Susan has been a valuable addition to our team since August 2021. With a robust customer service background and first-hand experience in building her own property, Susan is passionate about all things related to property. She joined us to lend her expertise to property visits, specialising in Inventory/Exit assessments and general property visits. Susan's commitment to excellence and her genuine love for properties make her an asset in ensuring our clients' needs are met with the utmost care and attention to detail.
Marisa Chisholm
Marisa officially joined CastleBrae in November 2023. With a degree in Communication Design, Marisa is immersing herself in the Estate Agency business, applying her design expertise she will be looking to enhance the visual and strategic elements of our brand identity. She will be leveraging her creative background to improve our marketing materials, streamline communication, and create engaging client experiences, all while gaining valuable knowledge in Property Management.
Tracy Penman- Property Coordinator
Tracy joined Castlebrae in June 2024 to support our expanding Lettings portfolio. As a Property Coordinator, she handles all aspects of property management, from conducting viewings to coordinating inspections. With her extensive background in customer service and experience in management roles, Tracy brings valuable expertise to our team. Her excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail ensure each property is well-maintained and meets Castlebrae's high standards. Tracy’s proactive approach and dedication make her a key asset, providing exceptional service to both landlords and tenants.
Phoebe Reid- Maintenance Coordinator
Phoebe, our new Maintenance Coordinator, brings strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to our team. She expertly manages the coordination of maintenance jobs, ensuring timely and efficient service for our clients. Phoebe is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in property care, making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes at our managed lettings properties. Kayla Dow- Communications Coordinator
Kayla recently joined Castlebrae as our Communication Coordinator, bringing with her extensive experience in customer service roles and involvement in marketing. In her role, Kayla is responsible for streamlining both internal and external communication, ensuring clear and efficient exchanges between our team, clients, and third parties. Jill Brooks- Lettings & Sales Negotiator
Jill has been a dedicated member of our team since February 2023. Transitioning from a strong customer service background, Jill sought a new challenge and found her niche at Castlebrae. In her dynamic role, Jill oversees all aspects of letting, with a primary focus on property viewings, negotiating with landlords and applicants/tenants to ensure everyone's needs are met. She also assists our Sales Manager with general Estate Agency Sales. Beyond her busy workday, Jill embraces an even busier role at home, navigating the joys and challenges of her young family.
Douglas McAdam- Safety Consultant
Douglas joined us in 2024 to monitor and coordinate our property safety certification. Douglas plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with legislation. Regularly in contact with landlords, tenants, and contractors, he ensures that all safety requirements are meticulously maintained and up-to-date. Douglas' commitment to safety and his effective communication skills contribute to a secure and compliant environment for our properties and the well-being of our residents.
Karen Swan- Property Inspector
Karen, our meticulous Property Inspector, ensuring the well-being of all our managed rental properties.
